Neve Cosmetics Mistero Barocco Review
Duebaci Lipstick+Liner (€8.90 – PAO 12M) is a new entry. I really like the concept of this product: liner and lipstick have slightly different colors to achive a more modern ombre effect.
I really like this all-in-one product even because I appreciate a lot pencil-like lipsticks since they are easy to apply without brush even when you have small lips.
The 3 shades are beautiful, great fall selection:
– Masquerade: blue-based ruby red, the sensual red for special occasions
– Incognito: pomegranate brown, a dark brownish nude
– Conspiracy: dark plum, the color of red roses in the night
They are really comfortable on the lips, even if their formula is made with coconut oil, they stay on really well without drying.
Incognito is the most interesting shade: it’s not very common and it’s a warm color, almost like cinnamon, that is perfect for the fall season.
There is only one, big issue in my opinion about this product: I cannot sharpen them properly. How’s that possible?!
I tried 4 different sharpener (Neve Cosmetics, Sephora, Urban Decay, Chanel) without success. The problem is that the pencil is obviously too big for the small hole, but it’s a bit small for the big hole! So the pencil slips too far ahead in the sharpener and when you turn the pencil to get it sharpen, the only thing that you are doing is destroying the lead on the bottom part of the sharpener. It’s not easy to explain -I hope you got it- and still working to find a solution.
